Welcome Letter to Sialendoscopy Istanbul 2

Dear Colleagues, Dear Friends,

We would like to invite you to the upcoming Sialendoscopy Istanbul II Congress. This event is scheduled to be held on December 1-2, 2023 in Istanbul, Turkey and will be made under the auspices of Turkish Society of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery.

The previous congress Sialendoscopy Istanbul was held with great success in 2019, and after the pandemic, we are ready and excited for the upcoming Sialendoscopy Istanbul II! This is a two day course full of scientific events, including panels, round tables and lectures on the latest topics and advances in sialendoscopy. The second day will be dedicated to hands on learning with fresh frozen cadavers and the course will be supervised by instrustors experienced in the field. The program is designed to provide an evidence-based approach on sialendoscopy and will attract everyone from beginner to advanced, who are interested in sialendoscopy. Just like our previous congress, we will do our utmost to make this scientific event instructive and innovative for all attendees at all stages of their carrier. This international congress will be held in English. Just like our previous congress, we are confident that this congress will be a great success with participation from all over the world.

Istanbul will be a fantastic backdrop for our meeting, and you will be able to enjoy a fantastic social and scientific programme. Istanbul is rich in cultural heritage from its history as a Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman capital. The city is unique in that it connects two continents- Europe and Asia, and is a meeting point for several cultures. This beautiful city is special with its thousands of years of history, rich cultural texture, beauties of its nature, hospitality of people, unique architectural structures, and the attractive atmosphere.

Sıalendoscopy Istanbul 2

Dear Colleagues,

We are very happy and proud to announce that the Sialendoscopy Istanbul 2 Congress was held with great success on December 1 and 2 in Istanbul, Turkey. We were fully booked in advance, and we were glad to see so many interested participants. The course was separated to two days, with the first day including scientific events and the second day dedicated to hands-on learning with fresh frozen cadavers. Besides, thanks to the wonderful weather in beautiful Istanbul, we had a chance to organize a wonderful dinner with a magnificent view of the Bosphorus and had a chance to get together with our participants and speakers.

The congress had a very fullfilling, interactive and hands-on program with each participant having a chance to participate actively. The paricipants had a chance to have a one-by-one dissection training from instructors experienced in the field and watch a master dissection from Dr. Koch. We are very thankful to Dr Koch and all our speakers, who made excellent presentations where they included the latest topics and advances in sialendoscopy and participated in active hands-on teaching on the second day of the course.  We would also like to thank Turkish Society of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, Istanbul Florence Nightingale Hospital, Gentek-STORZ and ELMED, without whom this congress would not be possible.

We are honored to have been a part of such a congress and very excited to organize the next one.
